Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is American Canadian singer and songwriter. Her work has been released on over 20 albums. Her music is classified as folk as well as alternative rock, but it is also influenced by punk funk hiphop and jazz. Ani diFranco was the first person to create her own label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco, who had been in contact while at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The guitar is equipped with their System 600 preamp and has all solid woods--a cedar top mahogany back and sides and an ebony fretboard.
