Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through a difficult childhood. As a young girl her mother fled to protect her from an abusive family. Pickler had her mother back in her life by 1995. They took care of Pickler. However, it wasn't as was planned. Pickler's grandparents raised her from 12 to adulthood.
