Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She advocates animal rights. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired by her upbringing in a New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. In her first two films she received recognition and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the globe after just three releases. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. The actress has appeared in a variety of other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
